About

Potlatch State Park occupies a scenic stretch of Hood Canal shoreline in Mason County, Washington. The park's 57 acres provide campers with direct access to nearly a mile of saltwater beach, ideal for shellfish harvesting, beachcombing, and wildlife watching. The Olympic Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to the west. The campground features 38 standard tent sites and 35 partial hookup sites suitable for RVs and trailers. Partial hookup sites include electric and water connections. Two hiker/biker sites accommodate non-motorized travelers. Facilities include restrooms with showers, potable water, a trailer dump station, fire pits, and picnic tables at each site. An amphitheater hosts interpretive programs during the camping season. The park's location on Highway 101 makes it accessible for travelers exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, and visiting the historic Skokomish tribal lands. The park operates year-round, though some services may be reduced during winter months.
