About

Ike Kinswa State Park encompasses 454 acres of rolling farmland and forest along the shores of Mayfield Lake, a reservoir on the Cowlitz River. The campground is divided into three loops offering different levels of amenity: Loop A provides full hookup sites with water, electric, and sewer connections but closes during winter months; Loop B offers water and electric hookups and operates year-round; Loop D consists of non-hookup sites suitable for tent camping. The park serves as a popular destination for anglers pursuing tiger muskie, largemouth bass, kokanee, and rainbow trout in Mayfield Lake. A boat launch provides lake access, and the park includes hiking trails through the surrounding forest. Each camping area features restrooms with showers, and a dump station is available for RV users. The park operates year-round from 8:00 a.m. to dusk, though some facilities have seasonal limitations. Reservations are made through Washington's GoingToCamp system. The maximum site length is 60 feet, though not all sites accommodate rigs of this size.
