Meramec State Park Group Campground provides organized group tent camping within one of Missouri's most popular state parks. Located in the Ozark foothills along the Meramec River, the park spans over 6,800 acres and features more than 40 caves, making it an ideal destination for outdoor education groups, scouts, and family reunions. Group tent areas are designed for parties of 15-50 people and include dedicated amenities: a paved parking lot accommodating approximately 15 vehicles, two fire grills for cooking and gathering, eight picnic tables, and two lantern posts per area. Restroom facilities operate year-round, while shower houses are available seasonally from April through October. All campers have access to the park's sanitary dump station, coin-operated laundry, and the Fireside Store and Grill for supplies and dining. The park offers extensive recreational opportunities including guided cave tours at Fisher Cave, over 16 miles of hiking trails, fishing, swimming at a designated beach, and canoe/raft rentals with shuttle service through the River Stop Store. Camping is limited to 15 nights within any 30-consecutive-day period.
