Open — Open year-round for reservations. Some sites may not be available during rainy months. During the off-season from November through March, potable water is available from the frost-free spigot at the dump station. Camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-consecutive-day period.

Meramec State Park Group Campground provides three separate group tent areas designed for organized camping groups of 15 to 50 people. Each group area features a paved parking lot accommodating approximately 15 vehicles, eight picnic tables, two fire grills, and two lantern posts. These tent-only areas are ideal for scout groups, family reunions, church groups, and other organized gatherings. The group campground is located within Meramec State Park, a 6,896-acre park along the Meramec River in Franklin County. The park sits approximately 60 miles southwest of St. Louis in the scenic Missouri Ozarks. Group campers have access to the park's extensive amenities including modern shower houses, laundry facilities, a dump station, and a camp store stocked with camping supplies and firewood. The park is famous for its 40-plus caves, with Fisher Cave offering guided tours during the operating season. The Meramec River provides excellent opportunities for floating, fishing, and swimming. The park features an extensive trail system for hiking and exploring the diverse hardwood forests and glade ecosystems. Group sites may not be available during particularly rainy months when conditions make the areas unsuitable for camping. During the off-season from November through March, potable water is available from the frost-free spigot at the dump station rather than from individual campground spigots.
