About

Located along the Meramec River in east-central Missouri near Sullivan, Meramec State Park Campground is situated within a 6,896-acre park featuring majestic river bluffs, wooded areas, and over 40 caves. The campground offers multiple site types including basic, electric, electric/water, and full hookup (sewer/electric/water) sites, with some 50-amp electric sites available. Three group tent areas accommodate 15-50 people each with paved parking, picnic tables, and fire grills. The park provides extensive recreational opportunities with more than 13 miles of hiking trails, guided Fisher Cave tours with hand-held lights, river swimming, fishing for bass, catfish, and sunfish, and floating opportunities. The Fireside Store and Grill and River Stop Store carry camping supplies and essentials. A visitor center interprets the park's natural and cultural features. All campsites include picnic tables and fire rings, with modern restrooms and shower facilities available. The campground is popular with canoeists and families seeking outdoor adventure in the Ozarks region.
