About

Meaher State Park sits on 1,327 acres in the wetlands along north Mobile Bay, offering campers direct access to coastal Alabama's unique ecosystems. The campground features 108 paved RV sites equipped with 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer hookups, each with its own picnic table and grill. Generous spacing between sites ensures privacy. Ten improved tent sites provide 20-amp electrical outlets, water spigots, circular ground grills, picnic tables, and food/trash hanging poles on gravel pads. Two modern bathhouses with laundry facilities serve the campground. A 300-foot fishing pier extends into the bay with a 200-foot T-section, and a boat ramp provides access to the Blakeley River. The park's boardwalk winds through the wetlands, and canoe and kayak rentals are available for paddling the bay and surrounding waterways. The park is located just off Battleship Parkway (US-90/98) in Spanish Fort, offering easy access while maintaining a natural setting along Ducker Bay. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance through the Alabama State Parks reservation system.
