About
Maurice K. Goddard State Park encompasses 2,856 acres in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, with the 1,680-acre Lake Wilhelm as its centerpiece. The lake is a prime destination for fishing (largemouth bass, walleye, muskie, panfish) and boating, with motors limited to 20 hp. The park operates a 241-slip marina and 48-space dry land mooring area from May 1 through October 31, plus seven boat launches around the lake.
Day-use facilities include four reservable pavilions accommodating 40-96 guests, picnic areas with tables and charcoal grills, restrooms, and a boat rental concession offering pontoons, rowboats, kayaks, and canoes. The park features over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails, ADA-accessible fishing piers, and hunting opportunities in season.
This is a day-use park only. Maurice K. Goddard State Park does not have tent sites, RV sites, cabins, or other overnight camping facilities. Campers seeking overnight accommodations should look to nearby private campgrounds.
