Maumee Bay State Park Campground is a modern, year-round camping facility located just five miles east of Toledo on Lake Erie's southwestern shore. The campground spans over 1,300 acres and offers 256 sites with 20-30-50 amp electric hookups. Twenty sites (1-11 and 21-29) feature full hookups including water and sewer connections, though water is only available at these sites during warmer months. Each site includes a paved parking pad, grassy area, picnic table, and fire ring, with foliage providing privacy between sites. The campground is well-equipped with heated shower houses featuring flush toilets during peak season (May through October). During off-peak months (November through April), two family restrooms remain heated and include shower facilities. Additional amenities include a well-stocked camp store near the entrance, a dump station with potable water and hoses, WiFi coverage throughout most of the park, and ADA-accessible sites (9 and 21). Pets are welcome on designated sites. Campground ponds are open exclusively to registered campers for fishing, and five miles of paved bicycle and pedestrian trails connect to most day-use areas. Bike rentals, a basketball court, and horseshoe pits are available. The park features a nature center and access to Lake Erie swimming beaches.

Maumee Bay State Park Campground is located at 1400 State Park Road, Oregon, OH 43616. From Toledo, take Route 24 West to Exit 41 in Napoleon, Ohio. Head south on Industrial Drive, then turn right onto 424/E Riverview Ave. The campground is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
