Maumee Bay State Park Campground is a modern, year-round camping facility located on the shores of Lake Erie, just five miles east of Toledo in Lucas County, Ohio. The campground features 252 spacious, open sites with 30-amp electric hookups that border natural meadows and ponds available exclusively for camper fishing. Sites include paved parking pads with grassy areas, screened by foliage for privacy, along with picnic tables and fire rings. The campground is well-equipped with heated shower houses offering flush toilets, sinks, and hot showers. Amenities include playgrounds, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and bike rentals. The campground area is separate from the main park, situated on the west side, while the beach, conference center, cottages, and boardwalk are located on the east side. Miles of paved trails connect the campground to other park features, making it ideal for cycling and walking. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance through the Ohio state park system, with same-day reservations also available. The campground operates on a reservation-only basis with no first-come, first-served sites. Stays are limited to 14 consecutive days per 30-day period. Pets are welcome in designated campsites.

Maumee Bay State Park Campground is located at 1400 State Park Road, Oregon, OH 43616. From Toledo, take Route 24 West to Exit 41 in Napoleon, Ohio. Head south on Industrial Drive, then turn right onto 424/E Riverview Ave. The campground is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
