* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio, including the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Knox, Lorain, Marion, Morrow and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Medina, Stark, Summit and Wayne. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Since Sunday afternoon, three rounds of showers and storms have moved through the region and a large portion of northern Ohio has received 1 to 2 inches of rain with some locally higher amounts. Another round or two of storms is expected on Tuesday into Tuesday night that could bring another 1 to 2 inches of rain with locally higher amounts where repeated storms occur. East Harbor State Park Campground sits on 1,831 acres along Lake Erie's southern shore in Ottawa County, Ohio. As the largest campground in the Ohio State Park system, it offers a wide variety of camping options including 23 full hookup sites, over 350 electric sites, and nearly 200 primitive sites. Two Sherman Cabins (one ADA-accessible) and an ADA-accessible yurt are also available. Each campsite comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground features modern amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, and a dump station. Free WiFi is available for registered campers. A seasonal camp store operates from April through October, selling firewood, ice, camping supplies, and ice cream. The facility also includes a boat launch ramp and fish cleaning building for campers. Recreational opportunities abound with a family-friendly swimming beach on Lake Erie just a short drive or bike ride away. The park offers swimming, boating, fishing, 11 miles of multi-use trails, picnicking, hunting, and disc golf. The marina provides seasonal and day-use dock rentals, fuel, supplies, and a restaurant.
