About

Kettle Falls Campground occupies a forested shoreline position on Lake Roosevelt, the 130-mile reservoir created by Grand Coulee Dam. The campground serves as a hub for water recreation with its on-site multi-lane boat launch, attracting boaters, water skiers, and anglers pursuing walleye, bass, rainbow trout, and salmon. The rocky descent to the water makes direct swimming access difficult, but the lake's glacier-fed waters warm to pleasant temperatures in summer. The 74 sites accommodate tents, vehicles, and RVs up to 50 feet. Sites 3 (pull-through, 49 ft max) and 73 (back-in, 40 ft max) are designated ADA-accessible. No hookups are available. A dump station is on-site for a $10 fee ($5 with Senior/Access pass). The nearby town of Kettle Falls provides additional services, and the historic St. Paul's Mission is about two miles away. Quiet hours run 10 PM to 6 AM. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period. Check-in is 1 PM, check-out is noon. The Kettle Falls area offers rich history of American Indians and the fur trade, with a park visitor center less than 10 miles away.
