About
Cedar Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground tucked within the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, managed by the St. Joe Ranger District. Located just 3 miles north of Clarkia and 28 miles south of St. Maries along State Highway 3, the campground provides easy access directly off the highway. The campground features just 3 campsites and vault toilets. There is no potable water available, so campers must bring an adequate supply. The site operates on a pack-it-in, pack-it-out basis for all refuse. Sites are available first-come, first-served with no advance reservations. The primary attraction here is fishing on the St. Maries River. The secluded, low-key atmosphere makes this a good option for anglers or campers seeking solitude away from more developed campgrounds.
