About

Manchester State Park is a 111-acre camping park located on Rich Passage in Puget Sound near Port Orchard. Originally constructed at the turn of the century as the Middle Point Military Reservation for U.S. Coast Artillery, the park retains fascinating historical features including the historic Torpedo Warehouse. The park offers year-round camping with standard and partial hookup sites suitable for both tents and RVs. Each campground loop includes full restrooms with showers. Additional camping options include hiker/biker sites available first-come, first-served, two Cascadia Marine Trail sites for watercraft arrivals, and a group camp with 12 RV hookup sites and private facilities available for reservation April through October. With over 3,400 feet of saltwater shoreline and wooded trails winding through fir and maple forest, the park provides excellent opportunities for beach exploration, hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, fishing, crabbing, and wildlife viewing. The day-use area features a picturesque waterfront lawn with picnic tables and barbecue braziers. The park is open 8:00 a.m. to dusk year-round.
