About

Illahee State Park is an 86-acre marine camping park located on Port Orchard Bay in Kitsap County, offering 1,785 feet of saltwater shoreline. The park provides a peaceful retreat with old-growth forest, saltwater beach access, and excellent opportunities for crabbing, fishing, and oyster harvesting in season. A historic brick pier extends into the bay, offering fishing access and scenic views. The campground has 23 standard campsites and one full-hookup site, suitable for tents, campers, and RVs up to 40 feet (limited availability for larger rigs). Facilities include restrooms with showers, a dump station, potable water, picnic tables, and fire pits in designated areas. All sites are reservable through the Washington State Parks reservation system, with first-come first-served availability for unreserved sites. The park is open year-round from 8:00 a.m. to dusk. Moorage is available at the dock and buoys on a first-come first-served basis, with stays limited to three consecutive nights. The boat ramp is not recommended for trailer use.
