Kitsap Memorial State Park Campground sits on 58 acres along Hood Canal's scenic shoreline, offering year-round camping in a beautiful coastal setting with sweeping Olympic Mountain views. The campground features 30 campsites including 19 standard sites, 8 full-hookup sites, 3 partial-hookup sites, and 3 hiker/biker sites. All sites can accommodate tents, RVs, or trailers depending on length. Four ADA-accessible cabins are also available, complete with mini refrigerators, microwaves, electricity, heat, air conditioning, fire pits, and picnic tables, each sleeping five people. One cabin is pet-friendly. The park provides excellent amenities including restrooms with showers, an ADA-accessible restroom, drinking water, trash service, recycling, and a park ranger station. The group campsite, available April 1 through October 31, can accommodate up to 56 people and includes 2 Adirondacks with 8 wood beds each, vault toilet, picnic tables, barbecue braziers, fire pit, and water spigot. Located near Poulsbo, the park offers 1,797 feet of saltwater shoreline with tide pools, beach access via cement steps, and opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing, crabbing, swimming, and beachcombing. Day-use facilities include a large playground, grassy playfields, ball fields, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and picnic areas. The park also features the Heritage Area with a Log Hall and facilities available for events and weddings. Reservations can be made up to nine months in advance.

Directions

From Poulsbo, drive north on State Route 3 for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Park Street and continue for 0.25 miles to the park entrance.
