About
Lucerne Campground is a large, well-developed facility on the Utah side of Flaming Gorge Reservoir within the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. Located at 6,100 feet in a high desert landscape with sagebrush and scattered trees, the campground provides direct access to one of the region's premier boating and fishing destinations. The campground features nearly 140 sites spread across Loops A through F, plus group sites and cabin rentals. Loops A through D offer electric hookups (30-50 amp), picnic tables, campfire rings, windbreaks, and parking spurs. Loop D adds tent pads and shade cabanas. Loops E and F have shade cabanas, tables, and fire rings but no hookups. Flush restrooms with showers are distributed throughout, and a dump station is available for an additional fee. Lucerne Marina, adjacent to the campground, offers boat rentals, fuel, slip rentals, fishing licenses, bait, and groceries. A fish cleaning station and boat ramp provide convenient access to the reservoir. Flaming Gorge Dam, with tours of the working hydroelectric plant and a visitor center, is a short drive away.
