Minimum 3-night stay required on weekends and holidays. Weather conditions in May may include heavy rain or snow affecting some roads and sites. Fire danger is currently low.

Lost Lake Resort and Campground is nestled between beautiful Lost Lake and Mount Hood in the Mt. Hood National Forest, about 90 minutes from Portland. The campground offers 148 sites across multiple loops, with options ranging from standard tent sites to lakeshore premium sites and group camping areas. The D Loop accommodates RVs up to 40 feet, while the general vehicle limit is 32 feet. The resort provides extensive amenities including a well-stocked general store, showers, RV dump and fill station, boat launch, and ADA-accessible fishing dock. Each campsite features a picnic table and fire ring. The general store offers kayak, stand-up paddleboard, historic wooden rowboat, and fishing boat rentals. Motors are prohibited on the lake, making it ideal for peaceful paddling. Nature lovers can explore the old growth boardwalk interpretive trail or hike the 3.2-mile Lost Lake Loop Trail. The area offers excellent birding, berry picking, swimming, and access to nearby Wahtum Lake and multiple waterfalls. The surrounding Hood River Valley provides opportunities for fruit stand visits on your way in or out.

Directions

From Portland: Take Highway 84 east for approximately 58 miles, exit at #62. Take Country Club Road to Barrett Drive, turn left on Barrett Drive to Tucker Road. Turn right on Tucker Road which intersects with Highway 281 (Dee Highway). Take Dee Highway to the Lost Lake Road exit; Lost Lake Road dead-ends at Lost Lake Resort.
