About
Little Cultus Lake Campground occupies a scenic spot on the southern shore of Little Cultus Lake, just south of its larger neighbor Cultus Lake in Deschutes National Forest. The 28-site campground is arranged in two loops, with most sites tucked under tree canopy in close proximity to the lakeshore. The 175-acre lake features a gentle sloping bottom that makes it excellent for wading and swimming, particularly appealing for families. Anglers will find rainbow and brook trout in the lake, with a 10mph speed limit maintaining peaceful conditions for fishing and paddling. A paved boat ramp within the campground provides direct lake access. Hikers can explore nearby trails leading into the Three Sisters Wilderness, making this an ideal base camp for both water recreation and backcountry exploration. The campground provides vault toilets and potable water via hand pump. Sites accommodate tents and smaller RVs with a maximum spur length of 40 feet. Generators are prohibited between 10pm and 7pm. The campground operates seasonally, typically from late May through early October.
