Lindbergh Campground sits within Charles A. Lindbergh State Park on the banks of the Mississippi River just south of Little Falls in Morrison County. The wooded campground offers 38 sites nestled among grand red and white pine, aspen, and oak trees, with 15 sites equipped with electric hookups for RVs and trailers. The intimate setting provides a quiet retreat with convenient access to the park's 7 miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails. The park's location on the Mississippi River provides excellent opportunities for fishing, and Pike Creek offers canoeing access. Wildlife viewing is exceptional year-round, with bald eagles, hawks, and owls frequently spotted along the river and in the surrounding forests. The campground includes modern amenities during the camping season, and the park features a historic WPA-built picnic shelter and stone water tower that add to its charm. Across the street from the park, the Minnesota Historical Society operates the Charles A. Lindbergh House and Museum, the boyhood home of the famous aviator. From Little Falls, head southwest for about one mile on Lindbergh Drive South to reach Charles A. Lindbergh State Park. The entrance is located at 1615 Lindbergh Drive South, just outside the city. The park is situated along the banks of the Mississippi River, with clear signage leading to the campground.
