Lincoln Park Campground provides a quiet base camp for exploring the Snowy Range area of Medicine Bow National Forest. Located at 7,800 feet elevation along North Brush Creek, the campground offers 12 sites suitable for tent, trailer, and RV camping. Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate, with three vault toilets and potable water available throughout the campground. Campers must pack out their own trash.
The surrounding area offers diverse recreation opportunities. OHV enthusiasts can access Stump Hollow Trail, Cedar Creek Trail, and Kennaday Peak, which provides panoramic views of the region. Anglers will find brook and brown trout in nearby streams. The Snowy Range Scenic Byway, a 29-mile stretch of paved road crossing spectacular alpine terrain, lies just 3 miles away, providing access to Silver Lake, Lake Marie Falls, Mirror Lake, and trailheads for Medicine Bow Peak, French Creek Canyon, and Miners Cabin trails.
The campground operates seasonally from mid-June through September, with reservations available through Recreation.gov. Maximum stay is 14 days, with quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Check-in is after 2 p.m. and checkout by noon or 1 p.m.
