Lincoln Park Campground provides a convenient base camp for exploring the Medicine Bow National Forest, situated at 7,800 feet elevation beside North Brush Creek, just three miles northeast of the Snowy Range Scenic Byway on Forest Road 100. The campground features 12 campsites accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs, with each site equipped with a picnic table and metal fire ring.
The location is particularly popular with OHV enthusiasts, offering easy access to Stump Hollow Trail, Cedar Creek Trail, and Kennaday Peak, which provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. Anglers can fish North Brush Creek and nearby streams for brook and brown trout. The Brush Creek Visitor Center is located just a quarter-mile from the Highway 130 junction.
The broader Snowy Range area offers over 100 lakes, extensive trail networks for hiking and mountain biking, and proximity to popular destinations including Silver Lake, Lake Marie Falls, Mirror Lake, and Medicine Bow Peak Trail. Wildlife viewing opportunities abound, and the 29-mile Snowy Range Scenic Byway passes through spectacular alpine habitat. The area also provides winter recreation opportunities including snowshoeing and skiing when conditions permit.
