About

South Brush Creek Campground is located along the shores of South Brush Creek in the Medicine Bow National Forest, on the west side of the Snowy Range in south-central Wyoming. The sunny campground is composed of two sections set within a dense forest of lodgepole pines, fir, and aspen trees. Wildlife in the area includes black bear, bobcat, coyote, elk, mule deer, and moose. The campground offers 20 sites with 6 pull-through options suitable for trailers under 25 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate. Two vault toilets serve the campground, and trash receptacles are provided. Potable water is available seasonally from late May through mid-September. A camp host is present during the operating season. Recreation opportunities abound in the surrounding Snowy Range area. Day hiking trails, OHV routes, and fishing access are all nearby. The Snowy Range Scenic Byway (Highway 130) provides the primary access route across this spectacular alpine landscape.
