The campground surrounds a scenic 35-acre lake nestled among mixed conifers at elevation, offering opportunities for trout fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating. The facility includes an accessible one-mile lakeside trail and a fully accessible fishing pier, making it welcoming for visitors of all abilities. Vault toilets are located throughout the campground, and potable water is available during the main season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This first-come, first-served campground operates year-round, though winter access may be limited by snow and road conditions. The campground is located 19 miles west of Stonyford in a remote area with limited cell service. Visitors can pay on-site using cash or the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan & Pay feature.
