About

Letts Lake Campground sits at the edge of a 35-acre lake in a mixed conifer stand within Mendocino National Forest. The 42 first-come, first-served sites are distributed across four loops: Main Letts, Saddle Camp, Spillway, and Stirrup. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets and potable water (seasonal, May through September) serve the campground. The lake is the main draw, offering trout fishing, swimming, and paddling on non-motorized vessels. A fully accessible fishing pier extends into the lake, and a one-mile accessible trail traces the shoreline. Accessible restrooms are available throughout the campground. Firewood must be purchased locally to prevent spread of invasive species. OHV riding is prohibited within the campground. Stay limits of 14 days within any 30-day period apply. Access is via M10 Road from Stonyford, which may experience construction delays or temporary closures due to ongoing slide repair work.
