Clark Lake Pavilion is a day-use facility situated in a scenic north woods setting at the north end of Clark Lake in Michigan's Ottawa National Forest. The pavilion provides a large indoor gathering area complete with picnic tables, limited seating, a fireplace, and electrical outlets. The facility serves as a rental venue for group gatherings and events. The pavilion is located within the Clark Lake day-use area, which features a large outdoor picnic area with tables and grills, a sandy beach for swimming, and flush toilet facilities. Parking includes 46 standard spots, 2 accessible spots, and 1 bus/larger vehicle spot. This is a day-use area only with no overnight camping permitted. Hours are 6am to 10pm daily. For those seeking overnight accommodations, the nearby Sylvania (Clark Lake) Campground offers 48 campsites with electric hookups, flush toilets, and an RV dump station, located a short drive from the pavilion.
Directions
From Watersmeet, Michigan, travel approximately 3.5 miles west on US Highway 2 to County Road 535. Turn left (south) onto County Road 535 and travel approximately 4 miles to the Sylvania Recreation Area entrance. From the entrance, follow signs to the Clark Lake day-use area.
