About

Forked Run State Park Campground is located in Meigs County, Ohio, along the shores of the 102-acre Forked Run Lake. The park occupies nearly 3,000 acres of rugged Appalachian terrain with deep ravines and hardwood forests. The campground spreads across five distinct camping areas set among rolling, wooded hills. The campground offers 143 sites total: 79 with electric hookups and 64 non-electric. Each site includes a paved parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Facilities include showerhouses with flush toilets and hot showers, vault latrines, a dump station, playgrounds, and coin-operated laundry. Wi-Fi is available at the camp office. Potable water is accessible throughout the campground at drinking fountains where campers can fill tanks. The lake offers fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish, and panfish. A boat ramp with wheelchair-accessible tie-ups serves electric motors only (no gas motors). A small beach sits at the bottom of a ravine. Several hiking trails wind through the park, including the Lakeview Trail along the shoreline.
