River Run Campground sits within North Bend State Park in the Mid-Ohio Valley near Cairo, West Virginia. The campground features 49 sites with Wi-Fi connectivity, and 26 of those sites offer 30/50 amp electric service and water hookups for RV campers. Its location near the Nature Center, outdoor swimming pool, and large playground makes it a solid choice for families. The campground's proximity to the 72-mile North Bend Rail Trail is a major draw. The trail follows an abandoned B&O Railroad corridor through several historic tunnels and offers excellent biking and hiking opportunities. Fishing streams and abundant wildlife round out the recreational options at this year-round park. Reservations can be made online at book.wvstateparks.com, by phone, or at the campground office. Weekend reservations require a minimum two-night stay (Friday and Saturday), while weeknight stays allow single-night bookings. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights.
