Lake Spokane campground is located on the western end of Lake Spokane within Riverside State Park, offering prime access to water-based recreation including boating, fishing, and swimming. The campground features 10 standard campsites suitable for tents and RVs, one companion campsite, and one group campsite that accommodates up to 25 campers. A single restroom building with showers serves the campground, along with one picnic shelter. The day-use area includes eight picnic shelters along the water's edge available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lake Spokane is popular with anglers and water sports enthusiasts. The campground provides a motorized boat launch, fishing dock, and designated swimming area. For those seeking more remote camping, nine boat-in campsites with vault or portable toilets are scattered around the lake and available year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground is part of Riverside State Park's 9,194-acre system along the Spokane and Little Spokane rivers. While Lake Spokane campground operates seasonally, visitors can access the broader park year-round for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and winter activities. A Discover Pass is required for entry.

Directions

Lake Spokane Campground is located off WA-291 in Tumtum, Washington, approximately 30 minutes northwest of Spokane. From Spokane, take WA-291 N for about 25 miles. The campground entrance is on the left, just past the town of Tumtum.
