Lake Macatawa Campground occupies the inland portion of Holland State Park in Ottawa County, Michigan, set along the shores of Lake Macatawa. The 211-site campground divides into two distinct loops: the Pines Loop offers a traditional wooded experience with sites nestled among trees, while the Woodstock Loop provides a more open layout with direct sunlight and wooded backdrops. All sites feature 30- or 50-amp electrical service, a fire ring, and picnic table on grass or gravel pads. The campground underwent significant improvements in 2018, including repaved roads and parking to better accommodate larger RVs and trailers. Facilities include modern bathhouses with showers, a dump station, two playground areas, sand volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. Twelve ADA-accessible paved sites with modified water spigots meet current accessibility standards. A small swimming beach on Lake Macatawa sits directly across from the campground entrance, offering a calmer alternative to the main Lake Michigan beach half a mile away. EV charging is available on-site. The campground maintains a quieter atmosphere compared to the adjacent Beach Campground, making it popular with families and those seeking a more traditional camping experience. Sites are relatively close together, though the wooded Pines Loop provides more privacy. Pets are permitted on leash throughout the campground.

From US-31, take the Douglas Avenue exit and head west. Turn north on Ottawa Beach Road and continue approximately 3 miles to the park entrance. The Lake Macatawa Campground registration office is at 2175 Ottawa Beach Road.
