Lake Bronson State Park Campground

Lake Bronson State Park Campground sits in the remote northwestern corner of Minnesota, just 20 miles from the Canadian border. The park preserves a unique landscape where prairie grasslands meet aspen-oak forests, creating diverse habitat for wildlife including deer, moose, and numerous bird species. A historic 1930s WPA observation tower provides panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The Two Rivers Campground offers a quiet, family-friendly camping experience with shaded sites among mature trees. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring, and campers have access to modern restroom and shower facilities. Electric hookups are available at many sites. The campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the park's trail system, including the Aspen Parklands Interpretive Trail. Due to the Lake Bronson dam replacement project that began in fall 2024, the Lakeside and Lakeside Extension campgrounds are currently closed. Two Rivers Campground remains fully operational. All lake recreation and fishing are prohibited during construction. The project is expected to be completed by late 2026.

From Hallock, drive 12 miles east on Highway 28 to the park entrance. The park is located approximately 20 miles south of the Canadian border.
