Lady's Slipper Campground

Lady's Slipper Campground sits within Zippel Bay State Park on the southern shore of Lake of the Woods in far northern Minnesota. The campground offers 11 non-electric sites scattered among shade trees, positioned closest to the lake among the park's camping areas. Each site includes a picnic table, tent or RV pad, and fire ring with grill. A vault toilet and hand pump provide basic facilities within the loop. Zippel Bay State Park spans nearly 3,000 acres and features two miles of sandy beach shoreline, a marina, fishing pier, and stone jetty providing protected access to Lake of the Woods. The park's campgrounds share access to a dump station, and seasonal showers are available. Lady's Slipper is best suited for tent camping or small campers seeking a quieter, more primitive experience near the water. Reservations are available up to 120 days in advance through the Minnesota DNR reservation system. A state park vehicle permit is required for entry.
