About

Webster Lake Campground is situated in the Chippewa National Forest, ten miles south of Blackduck, Minnesota along County Road 39. The campground provides a peaceful setting with access to Webster Lake and an extensive trail network. With 15 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis, the campground attracts visitors looking for fishing, boating, and hiking opportunities. The campground features a boat launch for easy lake access, vault toilets, and a picnic area. The trail system includes approximately 6 miles of hunter walking trails and a bog walk, offering opportunities for wildlife viewing and plant observation. Each campsite includes a fire pit and picnic table. The campground operates seasonally from May through mid-October. To reach the campground from Blackduck, travel south on County Road 39 for ten miles, then follow Forest Road 2207 east for one mile before turning south on Forest Road 2236 for two miles. The remote location provides a quiet camping experience while remaining accessible from nearby Blackduck. Campers should bring their own drinking water as potable water is not available on-site.
