About

Webster Lake Campground is a rustic 15-site campground operated by the U.S. Forest Service in the Chippewa National Forest, situated on the shores of Webster Lake approximately 10 miles south of Blackduck, Minnesota. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations required or accepted. Facilities include vault toilets and a boat launch for lake access. Potable water is not available, so campers must bring their own drinking water. The campground provides access to Webster Lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing, as well as the Webster Lake Hunter Walking Trail system with seven miles of trails. Northern Minnesota is black bear country, and the Chippewa National Forest has a campground food storage order in effect requiring campers to keep coolers and other bear attractants locked inside hard-sided campers or vehicles when not attended, including overnight.
