About

Kiwanis Campground is a primitive, single-site dispersed camping area tucked along Mann Creek in the Payette National Forest, approximately 20 miles north of Weiser, Idaho. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees and no reservation system, making it an accessible option for travelers seeking a quick overnight stop. The campground offers minimal amenities, featuring only a vault toilet. There is no potable water available, so campers must bring their own supply. Water from nearby Mann Creek can be filtered or treated if needed. The site lacks picnic tables and designated fire rings. Due to its proximity to Forest Road 009, the campground can be noisy and dusty from passing traffic. The access road is an improved gravel surface suitable for passenger vehicles. This spot is best suited for self-sufficient campers comfortable with dispersed-style camping in a basic setting.

Directions

From Weiser, travel north on Highway 95 for approximately 12 miles, then turn off on Forest Road 009. Travel another 8 miles to reach the campground. Road 009 is an improved gravel road suitable for passenger cars.
