About
Mann Creek Campground is a developed Forest Service campground located on Mann Creek Reservoir in western Idaho, managed by the Payette National Forest's Weiser Ranger District. The reservoir sits at 3,300 feet elevation in the arid, rolling foothills of the Hitt Mountains, making summers hot and dry. Large shade trees provide some relief, though shade is limited across the campground. The campground offers 13 sites with picnic tables (some covered) and fire rings. Vault toilets are provided. Two sites are fully accessible with paved access. Six sites are available for advance reservation through Recreation.gov, while the remaining sites are first-come, first-served. Mann Creek Reservoir offers 283 surface-acres of water and five miles of shoreline, though water levels fluctuate seasonally. Visitors enjoy boating, canoeing, swimming, and trout fishing. A no-shooting zone is in effect around the reservoir and campground. Biting and stinging insects are common near the water.
Directions
From Weiser, Idaho, take Highway 95 north for 12 miles, then take Mann Creek Road north approximately 2.5 miles to Mann Creek Reservoir and the campground.
