About
Justrite Campground sits along Mann Creek in the Hitt Mountains of Idaho's Payette National Forest. This small, free campground features four undeveloped sites that operate on a first-come, first-served basis during the typical season from mid-May through late September or early October. Basic amenities include vault toilets and picnic tables at each site. There is no potable water at Justrite Campground; campers must bring their own supply or treat water from nearby sources. The campground serves as an excellent basecamp for exploring the extensive network of backcountry roads and trails in the Hitt Mountains by mountain bike. Rainbow trout fishing in Mann Creek is another popular activity. Access is via US Highway 95 north from Weiser, then County Road and Forest Road 009 into the forest. Dogs are welcome but must be kept leashed and attended at all times.
Directions
From Weiser, travel 12.5 miles north on US Highway 95, then 9.5 miles north on County Road and Forest Road 009.
