About
Falls View Campground is a forested retreat in Olympic National Forest, located just 3.5 miles south of Quilcene along Highway 101. The campground occupies a scenic perch high above the Big Quilcene River, surrounded by towering conifers and native rhododendrons that create a lush Pacific Northwest atmosphere. The campground features 30 sites split between two loops. The right loop accommodates RVs and trailers with 14 sites, including six pull-throughs, with some accepting units up to 35 feet. The left loop offers 16 sites better suited for tent camping. Amenities are basic: vault toilets and picnic tables are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The Falls View Canyon/Falls View Loop Trailhead is located within the campground, providing direct access to Falls View Canyon Trail #868 and the Falls View Loop Trail. Nearby Hood Canal and Quilcene Bay offer opportunities for swimming, boating, waterskiing, and harvesting oysters and clams.
