About
Kiser Lake State Park Group Campground offers primitive group camping facilities designed for organized youth and adult groups on the scenic south shore of Kiser Lake. The campground features three partially shaded sites that can collectively accommodate up to 100 people, making it suitable for scout troops, church groups, and other organizations seeking an affordable outdoor experience. Each group site is equipped with fire rings and picnic tables, with pit latrines located nearby. While the group camp area is primitive without hookups or showers, a dump station is available for groups with trailers. The location provides convenient access to recreational amenities including a fishing pier, picnic shelter, and playground. The 396-acre park offers additional activities such as swimming at the beach, boating, fishing for largemouth bass and channel catfish, and hiking trails through rolling wooded terrain. Reservations are required for group camping and can be made up to six months in advance through the Ohio State Parks reservation system.
