Snow showers associated with an arctic front are moving through this morning, providing a quick accumulation of snowfall. With wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph, the snow showers combined with blowing snow are reducing visibility and creating challenging travel conditions. These conditions are most impactful on roads that are more rural and are aligned from north to south. Even after the snow ends, elevated winds will continue to blow snow into the early afternoon. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Indian Lake State Park Shelters provide excellent day-use facilities for groups and families visiting this popular Ohio state park along Indian Lake. The park features five reservable picnic shelters located in shaded areas throughout the property, each equipped with tables and grills. These shelters are ideal for family gatherings, group events, and picnics while enjoying the scenic lake views and park amenities. The park is situated in Logan County and offers a variety of recreational opportunities including boating access, trails, and beach areas. Reservations for the shelters are made through the ReserveOhio online system. The park also features a full-service campground with 127 electric sites, camper cabins, and additional picnic areas for visitors seeking overnight or extended stays. Indian Lake State Park is a well-maintained facility that serves both day-use and overnight visitors, providing access to one of Ohio's largest inland lakes with opportunities for fishing, swimming, and water recreation throughout the warmer months.

Indian Lake State Park is located at 13156 State Route 235 N, Lakeview, OH 43331. Accessible from SR 117 and US 33, the park is approximately an hour's drive northwest of Columbus. Upon entering Lakeview, follow the signs directing you to the park entrance.
