* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...The following counties, in southwest Ohio, Butler and Warren. In west central Ohio, Champaign, Clark, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 835 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding on several roadways in Montgomery County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dayton, Hamilton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Troy, Trotwood, Oxford, Miamisburg, Springboro, Vandalia, Englewood, Trenton, Urbana, Franklin, Tipp City, Bellbrook and Moraine.

Mad River near Springfield. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mad River near Springfield. * WHEN...From early this morning to this evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, West 1st Street in Springfield Township floods, including the Forest Lake Fishing and Campround area, with water approaching some businesses along West 1st Street. Spangler Road downstream of Springfield also floods. Flood waters approach several homes to the southwest of Springfield. In addition, the Mad River experiences widespread flooding in Champaign County near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.6 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
