About

Pronghorn Campground sits within Keyhole State Park on the western edge of Wyoming's Black Hills, between Sundance and Moorcroft at 4,100 feet elevation. The campground offers 36 sites nestled among pine trees, with most being back-in configurations and a few pull-throughs available. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with water hydrants and restrooms spaced throughout. Two sites feature cement pads for universal accessibility, and a large accessible playground is available for children. Keyhole Reservoir provides 14,720 acres of water recreation with excellent fishing for walleye, catfish, smallmouth bass, and northern pike. The park serves as a haven for resident and migrating bird species. Park-wide amenities include a dump station at the main entrance, coin-operated showers at the shower house near Tatanka Campground, and seasonal boat docks and fish cleaning stations. Note that Pronghorn Campground does not have electric or water hookups; campers requiring hookups should reserve sites at Tatanka Campground.
