Arch Rock Campground sits within Keyhole State Park, a 14,720-acre recreation area centered on Keyhole Reservoir in Crook County, Wyoming. Located just 6 miles south of I-90 at exit 165 near Moorcroft, the park offers convenient access to Devils Tower National Monument and the Black Hills of South Dakota. The reservoir is renowned for producing some of Wyoming's largest fish, including walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and channel catfish. The campground provides 14 primitive campsites, most featuring gravel pads with one universally accessible cement pad site. Sites are positioned among pine trees offering shade and scenic views, with easy access to the lake for boating, fishing, and swimming. Each site includes a fire ring with grill and picnic table. Water hydrants are distributed throughout the campground, and a comfort station serves the area. No hookups are available at Arch Rock; campers needing electric and water connections should consider Tatanka Campground instead. Keyhole State Park operates year-round, though amenities like the dump station and boat docks are seasonal. The shower house is currently closed. Reservations are required from May 1 through September 30; outside this window, sites are available first-come, first-served.
