About

Haag Cove Campground sits on the western shore of Lake Roosevelt within Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area in Ferry County, Washington. This quiet, isolated campground features 18 reservation-only campsites spread along the shoreline in an open area dotted with scattered pine trees. The open setting allows for sweeping views of the lake from most sites, though it does not provide much privacy between campsites. Sites 13 through 18 are walk-in tent sites, while the remaining sites can accommodate RVs and trailers, though maximum vehicle length varies by site and there are no hookups available. The campground is popular with families, hunters, and anglers who enjoy easy access to Lake Roosevelt for shoreline fishing. Summer weather is hot with temperatures averaging in the 90s, while winters are cold with possible snow. The campground typically remains quiet throughout the season but may fill on holidays and weekends. Facilities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits at each site, but there is no potable water available. Campers must bring their own water supply. Campground roads and parking spaces are paved, with campsites 3 and 5 designated as ADA accessible. Haag Cove is located approximately 83 miles north of Spokane. French Rock boat launch is 5.5 miles south, and St. Paul's Mission in Kettle Falls is 8.2 miles north. The campground operates seasonally and is closed during winter months, with camping only available at Spring Canyon, Fort Spokane, and Kettle Falls campgrounds during the off-season.

Directions
