About

Canyon Creek Campground sits in a single circular loop just 0.25 miles from Highway 20 on a dirt access road, providing a quiet retreat with minimal traffic noise. A few campsites are positioned adjacent to Canyon Creek, though the creek is mostly hidden from view. The campground accommodates RVs up to 30 feet and is well-suited for overnight travelers or those seeking a few days of relaxed camping in the eastern Cascades. The standout feature is the one-mile paved walking trail with benches that follows Sherman Creek between the campground and the Sherman Pass Log Flume Heritage Site, offering interpretive opportunities and easy access for all ability levels. Sites include fire rings and picnic tables. No potable water is available; campers must filter or treat water from nearby sources. This is a pack-it-in/pack-it-out campground with no trash service. Quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Campfires are permitted only in developed fire rings; fireworks are prohibited. Pets must be leashed, and OHV use is prohibited within the campground. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive days.
