Jordan Pines Campground sits in scenic Big Cottonwood Canyon at an elevation of 7,500 feet, surrounded by a forest of pine and aspen trees with panoramic views of surrounding peaks. The campground exclusively serves groups and offers four overnight sites (Lodgepole Grove, Pine Grove, Ponderosa Grove, and Limber Grove) plus one day-use picnic area (Pinion). Each site features picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills. A volleyball court and horseshoe pit are on-site, though visitors must bring their own equipment. As part of the Salt Lake City Watershed, special regulations are strictly enforced. No pets are allowed except service animals, with fines up to $650 for violations. Wading and swimming in streams and water bodies is prohibited. Campers must store food properly in bear boxes or vehicles. Maximum vehicle length is 25 feet including any tow vehicle. The campground features vault toilets and paved roads with parking spurs. Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance through Recreation.gov. Nearby attractions include the Donut Falls Trail, fly-fishing on Big Cottonwood Creek, Solitude Mountain Resort with disc golf and dining, and Silver Lake for fishing and canoeing.

Directions

From I-215, take the 6200 South exit and travel a mile east to Wasatch Blvd. Take Wasatch Blvd a mile south to the junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon/Highway 190. Turn left and travel up Big Cottonwood Canyon 9.2 miles to the campground. Turn right on Cardiff Fork Road.
