About

Jones Water Campground is a small primitive camping area located in the Tonto National Forest, approximately 17 miles northeast of Globe, Arizona on US Highway 60. Situated at 4,500 feet elevation in a riparian environment, this dispersed camping site provides a quiet desert getaway with opportunities to observe native wildlife and birds. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets and picnic tables. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own supply. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. with no generator use during that time. There is no fee to camp at Jones Water, and the site has a 14-day stay limit.
