Jensen Cabin is a fully remodeled 2-room cabin with loft, constructed of rough-cut lumber with metal siding and roof, situated at approximately 6,400 feet in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The cabin sits on the edge of a meadow surrounded by pine trees, offering views of distant mountains. It sleeps six guests with two sets of bunk beds in one room and two twin beds in the loft, all with mattresses provided.
The cabin is equipped with a wood stove and cut firewood for heating, a propane stove with limited cookware for meals, a table with benches and chairs, and a plastic tub for washing. Water is available from an outdoor hand pump, and an outdoor vault toilet serves the facility. There is no electricity or cell service. Guests must bring their own bedding, matches, first aid kit, and trash bags as this is a pack-it-out facility.
Year-round recreational opportunities include horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and berry picking in summer, with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in winter. McCoy Creek and Jensen Creek are nearby for fishing. Wildlife in the area includes black bear, elk, moose, and mule deer. Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, and Palisades Reservoir are within easy driving distance.

From Alpine, Wyoming, travel 13 miles off McCoy Creek Road. Approximately 10 miles of the route is on gravel roads.
