About

Jack Hill State Park, renamed in 2020 to honor late Georgia State Senator Jack Hill, encompasses 662 acres of serene southeast Georgia landscape. The park's 12-acre lake serves as a centerpiece for fishing and paddle boat rentals during warmer months, while surrounding facilities include picnic shelters, playgrounds, and an observation deck. The campground features 29 well-equipped sites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 60 feet. Each site includes water and electric hookups, a picnic table, and a grill with fire ring. Five premium sites offer full sewer hookups, and a centrally located dump station serves all campers. The bathhouse provides flush toilets, hot showers, and coin-operated washer and dryer units. Beyond camping, the park is known for Brazell's Creek Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course playing nearly 7,000 yards with five sets of tees. Additional recreation includes miniature golf, FootGolf, outdoor fitness equipment, and a seasonal splash pad operating Friday through Sunday. Ten rental cottages with screened porches and fireplaces offer an alternative to camping.
