About

Indian Point Campground at Glendo State Park consists of 21 undeveloped campsites spread across three distinct areas along the shores of Glendo Reservoir. Sites 1-12 are located farthest south, where sites 7-12 sit at the edge of a large cottonwood stand while sites 1-6 are more exposed with minimal shade. Sites 13-16 are positioned just south of the boat ramp parking lot with decent tree cover and convenient access to vault toilets. Sites 17-21 are located north of the boat ramp, with sites 19-21 offering open views overlooking the reservoir. All sites are accessed via two-track dirt roads and are best suited to medium-sized camping units or tents. The campground features two vault toilets and a seasonal boat ramp with a courtesy dock, typically operational from early May through late July. A small low-water ramp may be usable for a brief period in early August. Access to Indian Point requires following Glendo Park Road to the Sandy Beach turn-off, then turning right onto a gravel road and continuing two miles to reach the campground.

Directions

From I-25, follow Glendo Park Road to the Sandy Beach turn-off and turn left. Just before the Sandy Beach fee booth, turn right on the gravel road and continue two miles to Indian Point.
