Ida Creek Campground occupies a scenic location at the confluence of Ida Creek and Icicle Creek in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 13 miles southwest of Leavenworth. The campground features 10 single sites stretched along the creek banks, with most offering direct creek access and a few set back among the trees. This is a popular destination during summer months due to easy access to swimming holes and the beautiful Icicle Creek corridor. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. Sites may be paid for using the Recreation.gov mobile app's Scan and Pay feature, though visitors should download the app before arrival due to limited cellular service in the area. The facility is wheelchair accessible and provides drinking water via hand pump and vault toilets. Heavy usage is typical during peak season, especially on weekends and holidays. From the campground, visitors can access numerous hiking trails in the Icicle Creek drainage and enjoy fishing opportunities. The maximum vehicle and trailer length is 30 feet. Each site includes a table and fire pit, though fire restrictions may be in effect during summer months.

Directions

From Leavenworth, head southwest on US-2 West for 0.8 mile. Turn left onto Icicle Road (Forest Service Road 7600) and follow for about 13 miles. The campground is on the left at the confluence of Ida Creek and Icicle Creek.
