About

Higley Flow State Park is nestled among the Adirondack foothills on the picturesque Raquette River in St. Lawrence County. The park features 128 spacious campsites separated by pine trees, providing privacy and a natural setting. The terrain is hilly and heavily wooded, with a sandy beach on the reservoir of the Raquette River. The scenic river is ideal for canoeing and fishing, with a boat launch available for easy water access. The Beaver Pond Nature Trail offers interpretive signs describing six distinct habitats through which the trail passes. In addition to camping, the park offers swimming at the guarded beach, pavilion rentals, and a playground. Winter activities include cross-country skiing on hiking trails, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. The park has modern amenities including showers, flush toilets, a dump station, and water collection points. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance through ReserveAmerica.
