About

High Creek Campground is a small, primitive camping area situated in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest on the Logan Ranger District, north of Logan Canyon near Richmond, Utah. This no-fee campground features approximately 4-5 informal campsites along High Creek, providing a peaceful retreat with opportunities for fishing, wildlife watching, and enjoying the sounds of the flowing creek. The campground attracts visitors seeking a quiet, undeveloped camping experience away from more crowded recreation areas. Facilities are minimal and campers must be completely self-sufficient. There is no potable water available on-site, no trash service, and no established amenities beyond basic campsites. Vault toilet facilities may be present but are not consistently maintained. The campground operates under a 7-day stay limit and requires no advance reservations, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Access is via Forest Road 048 east of US Highway 91 between the communities of Richmond and Cove.
