From Hendersonville, NC, take US-64 W for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto North Mills River Road and continue for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Wash Creek Road (Forest Service Road 5000) and proceed for approximately 2 miles to the Trace Ridge Trailhead. Hendersonville Reservoir Road (FS 142) begins here.
