About

Harr Point Campground is a semi-primitive backcountry campground situated on the scenic east shore of Applegate Lake in Oregon's Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The campground is not accessible by vehicle and requires either a 0.25-mile hike along the Payette Trail #970 from the Squaw Arm Parking Area or arrival by boat. Those arriving by boat should check current lake levels before planning their trip. The campground offers 5 tent-only campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. A vault toilet is available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. This is a pack-it-out site with no trash disposal facilities. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees required. Quiet hours are enforced between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Campfires are permitted only in the developed fire pits, and fireworks are prohibited. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash. OHV/ATV use is prohibited within the campground. Maximum length of stay is 14 days.
