The Hammock Day Use Area Pavilion is a day-use rental facility situated within the Croom Motorcycle Area of Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida. This 30' x 40' pavilion offers a covered gathering space for groups ranging from 1 to 60 people, making it suitable for family gatherings, group outings, and events. The pavilion features 8 picnic tables (8' x 4'), a double grill and a single grill for cooking, restrooms nearby, electric access, and on-site water. No lighting is provided, so daytime use is recommended. The facility sits in the Croom Motorcycle Area, an off-road vehicle area, with sand and gravel parking available. Day-use hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week unless posted otherwise. Visitors should note that a $2 per person day-use fee applies to anyone age 6 and up without an Annual or Single Day Motorcycle Permit. No alcohol or pets are permitted at this facility. Groups of 6 or more require a State Forest Use Permit from the Visitor Center. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance through Reserve America. The facility is closed on Thursdays year-round.

Via I-75: Take Exit 301 (SR-50/US 98 S). Head west on SR-50/US 98 S, turn right onto LaRose Road north for 0.35 miles to the Croom Motorcycle Area Gate House. Check in, then continue north/northwest for 3.25 miles to the pavilion on the right.
