Hammock Day Use Area Pavilion is a reservable group facility located within the Croom Motorcycle Area (CMA) of Withlacoochee State Forest in Hernando County, Florida. The covered pavilion measures 30 by 40 feet and can accommodate groups of 1 to 60 people for day-use activities such as picnics, gatherings, and events. The pavilion is equipped with eight 8-foot picnic tables, a double grill, and a single grill. Restrooms, potable water, and electric service are available on site. Parking is provided on a sand/gravel surface. The facility does not have lighting. This is strictly a day-use facility operating from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. Overnight camping is not permitted. Reservations are required for all groups and pavilion use. Pets and alcohol are prohibited. A day-use fee of $2 per person applies to anyone age 6 and older without an Annual or Single Day Motor Permit.
